The maison was founded by Gabriella Fusillo. Since 2018 no single style has held the releases together: color alone has guided them.
Color before pattern
Every wallpaper begins with a study of color, before the design. It is not an order of work. It is an order of importance.
Hues are not called by name. They are stated in NCS notation, the system that describes a color by how much black it holds, how much chromaticness it carries, and which hue it leans toward. A measure, not a label: a red is not “terracotta,” it is a quantity.
This is what surprises anyone opening the archive for the first time. The same design, moved a few points along that scale, becomes another design. The geometry stays the same. Everything else changes.
That is why these wallpapers are read first as fields of color, and only then as patterns.
The releases
Not seasons: releases. Each one carries a month and a year; nine of the fourteen also carry a name.
