NAUTILUS
DESIGNED
BY
BARBARA
ROSSI
Organic
forms
emerge
across
the
wall
like
traces
left
by
the
sea.
Shells
and
ammonites
are
reconstructed
through
a
delicate
pattern
of
irregular
fragments.
The
design
combines
graphic
precision
with
a
spontaneous,
tactile
quality.
Its
spirals
suggest
movement,
growth
and
the
slow
rhythm
of
nature.
Repetition
is
never
rigid,
creating
instead
a
free
and
airy
composition.
A
marine
imaginary
is
transformed
into
a
contemporary,
abstract
language.
Matter
and
nature
meet
through
an
apparently
simple
gesture.
A
tiny
fossil
becomes
the
protagonist
of
the
space.
