Murals and Fòco by Studiopepe at Archiproducts
For Milan Design Week 2026, Murals takes part in Fòco – Living Notes, the project designed by Studiopepe for Archiproducts Milano, in the via Tortona spaces.
An intervention that does more than build a room: it works on subtle relationships between material, light, and the perception of space.
Fòco – Living Notes: material, light, relation
With Fòco, Studiopepe continues its research into domestic space as an open system, where every element helps define a dynamic balance.
The project unfolds as a sequence of spaces and suggestions, where:
- surfaces enter into dialogue with light
- materials build rhythm
- objects relate to one another
In this context, no intervention stands alone: each is part of a broader composition.
The Murals intervention: a surface that builds depth
Within the project, Murals contributes a selection of surfaces designed to work in a discreet but decisive way.
Wallpaper is not a decorative element, but an active component of the space:
a device that amplifies light, rhythm, and perception.
Waffle: rhythm and dimension
For the installation, the Waffle collection was chosen: a structured pattern that works on depth through light.
The design, seemingly regular, generates continuous variation:
- it changes with the viewing angle
- it responds to natural and artificial light
- it builds a surface that is never entirely still
The result is a presence that doesn't take over the space but moves with it, striking a balance between order and visual vibration.

A surface in dialogue with space
Set within Studiopepe's design context, Waffle becomes part of a larger system.
The surface:
- doesn't impose itself
- doesn't disappear
- but sets up a counterpoint with the other elements
It's in this very balance that the strength of the project lies: in the ability of every component to contribute without overpowering.
Archiproducts Milano: a space for experimentation
The Archiproducts Milano venue, in via Tortona, confirms itself as one of the most compelling Design Week destinations for research into contemporary design.
A setting where brands, designers, and materials meet to build new design possibilities.
Beyond Design Week
Taking part in Fòco is part of a broader Murals path, focused on exploring the surface as a design element.
Not just a covering, but a tool to:
- define space
- build atmosphere
- activate relationships between materials
