Murals and Or.nami: a new partnership for signature wallpaper

Carta da parati Or.nami con grandi foglie geometriche in un interno verde salvia

Some walls are designed to measure; others are chosen the way you choose a work of art. As of October 2026, these two ways of looking at a surface share a home: Murals is beginning a strategic partnership with Or.nami, the wallpaper maison founded by Gabriella Fusillo and recognized over the years for its refined decorative language, strong design identity, and distinctive sensitivity to color.

An exclusive licensing agreement

Through an exclusive licensing agreement, Murals takes on responsibility for the production and the commercial and international development of the Or.nami brand, guiding it through a new phase of growth and consolidation.

The collaboration stems from a shared intention: to preserve and enhance the creative heritage Or.nami has built over the years, keeping its identity and positioning intact, while giving the brand the production, design, and commercial structure developed by Murals. Not a change of course, but a new setup for the same journey.

Two complementary languages, one vision of surfaces

For Murals, the partnership is an important step within a broader vision dedicated to decorative surfaces, interior design, and the development of distinct, complementary design languages.

Murals designs and produces made-to-measure decorative surfaces: each wallpaper is cut to the real dimensions of the wall and printed on the support chosen for the place where it will live. Collections like Waffle and Sign work on the wall as rhythm and as sign, in dialogue with light and volume.

Or.nami speaks another language. It is a maison of interior wallpapers where each series springs from a reflection on living and bears the name of its author: from geometries to ornaments, from herbariums to Pompeian-inspired panels, all the way to Grafismi, the collection signed by Giulio Cappellini. Two different approaches to the same question — how a surface changes a space — that can now be read side by side. Two distinct voices in designer wallpaper, backed by the same factory: Murals', in Castellarano, Italy.

What it means for Or.nami

Or.nami will continue to evolve while preserving the character, values, and identity that have defined its success. The goals are clear: developing new collections, expanding its international presence, and further strengthening its positioning in the premium market.

The first concrete sign is already online. The murals.it home page now opens onto two doors, Murals and Or.nami, and the Or.nami archive has a space of its own: the wallpapers are organized by family — Geometry, Ornament, Herbarium, Playroom, Heritage, Matter — and can be explored by family and by color, or searched by code, release, and designer. Each product page lets you choose the colorway and the portion of the design you want on your wall, and send your request directly to Murals. The archive is available in Italian and English.

In the founders' words

Gabriella Fusillo, founder of Or.nami:

"I have known Davide for many years and I am truly happy that he will be the one guiding Or.nami through this new phase. I believe Murals has the expertise, design sensitivity and structure necessary to enhance everything that has been built so far and take it even further."

Davide Tonelli, founder and art director of Murals:

"Or.nami is a brand with a strong identity and an important history. Our goal is not to change its essence, but to enhance its creative heritage and guide it into a new phase of development while preserving its distinctive character. We are proud of the trust Gabriella has placed in us and excited to build the next chapter of this story together."

The next chapter

Through this collaboration, Or.nami and Murals embark on a shared journey driven by creativity, research, and design vision, with the ambition of shaping the next chapter in the brand's history together.

For architects, interior designers, showrooms, and contract projects, there is a single point of contact: commercial inquiries, made-to-measure projects, and collaborations go through Murals, at info@murals.it or via the Or.nami contact page.
