A wallpaper collection of great architectural value, which provides us with magnificent perspective views and spectacular optical illusions, transporting us to a universe of infinite splendour and far away in time. The Pompeian is the new range of wall coverings designed by Gabriella Fusillo for Or.nami, of which she is the founder and artistic director. The brand’s new collection is a deliberate homage to the early Pompeian style of frescoes present in many of the temples and residences in Pompeii and Herculaneum, which have survived to the present day in all their sumptuous beauty. Large geometric bands which imitate the texture of the materials thus alternate with frames embellished with elegant figurative decorations, while continuous monochromatic stripes enrich the composition in certain places with decisive and contrasting nuances, or with softer and fainter tones. What emerges is a particularly heterogeneous and evocative geometric account, marked by extremely sumptuous structural visions which are able to infinitely enhance the architectural elements and the perspective of the room.
