Grafismi is a range of wallpaper with sharp graphic design, where the classic compositions of minimalist forms, of geometric purity, are illuminated by refined chromatic details, accentuated by interplays of overlapping colours and shades, and by the rarefied reflections of the materials’ textures. Behind the collection is a reflection by Giulio Cappellini on contemporary living: in a context where our spaces – both physical and digital – are increasingly becoming new theatres of self representation, places with which we communicate to outsiders, walls become authentic domestic landscapes and understanding them is the key to the gate of interior design. This is the genesis of a range of wallpaper composed of discrete and linear compositions – beyond current trends – suited for a wide range of different architectural spaces and environments, from the contemporary to the most traditional. Calm orthogonal lattices, squared off forms with an organic, geometric inspiration and an almost hypnotic rhythm: each graphic design expresses itself in its decorative potential through the visual force of colour, obtained through vibrant ton sur ton combinations. The colour palettes used are shades of red, blue, light blue and green, along with more neutral beige, grey and burnt tones. Each palette offers a different interpretation of the personality of the designs, which come alive in an iridescent manner on the basis of the intensity of the colours and the brightness of the substrate used.
